The 31-year-old comedian rocked an all black outfit teamed with a red leather jacket while attending the All in: Comedy About Love by Simon Rich Gala Performance at the Hudson Theater on Monday, December 16. Davidson stepped out to support his longtime friend John Mulaneywho stars in a Broadway comedy. The duo even posed for a series of photos together.
Davidson’s rare outing on Monday marked her first red carpet appearance in over a year, her last Transformers: Rise of the Beasts in June 2023.
The comedian has been in and out of the public eye since his career began more than a decade ago, speaking candidly about his mental health struggles.

Recently, Davidson discussed his decision to live a low-key life in a new profile for In a Magazinepublished on Thursday, December 12.
“I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but I’ve been laying low,” he joked during the interview, which promoted his latest venture as creative director of sock brand Doublesoul.

“When I was 19, it was all about the fit – that’s all that mattered. Now it’s health, family, humility, being a good person, not being a drug addict. Things like that,” he explained. “Fortunately, I got hit in the face with a Hollywood shovel. It was a long time coming, and I needed it. I’m very happy where I am at the moment, mentally.”
Apart from his tenure on Saturday Night Live – Davidson was a cast member from 2014 to 2022 – the actor has become well known his high-profile love lifebut he hopes that will change moving forward.

“I want to be known for doing good work. I only want to be out there when it’s (for) film, stand-up, charity, or business ventures,” he said. “That’s when I want to be seen. i don’t wanna be this f-ing loser who only date people. That’s not who I am.”
Being such a public figure was a “blessing” for Davidson, in a way.
“It allowed me to take a step back and evaluate things,” he added. “What do you want to be? who are you I’m from Staten Island, I want to do stand-up, and if I had to do anything else because of stand-up, it was a miracle.”
