Penn State quarterback Drew Aller had his high school sweetheart by his side on his journey to the College Football Playoff.
Allar, 20, and his girlfriend, Emma Bushbegan dating in September 2019 when the pair were students at Medina High School in Medina, Ohio.
From there, Allar enrolled at Penn State in 2022 and became the team’s starting quarterback in 2023, leading them to the first ever expanded 12-team playoff in 2024.
Meanwhile, Bush enrolled at Big Ten rival Ohio State in 2022 and joined the Tri Delta sorority.
Despite the distance, however, the couple has made it work with trips to State College, Pennsylvania and Columbus, Ohio, especially on game days.

The couple were dressed to the nines for a high school dance, with Allar wearing a red tie to match Bush’s dress.
Bush supported Allar on the sidelines of a Medina High football game, where he was a standout quarterback.

Allar and Bush commemorated an important relationship milestone at the start of their freshman years in college
“Celebrating 3 years with you!! I love you so much!” Bush shared via Instagram.
The post featured a carousel of photos from all over their relationship, including one of Bush decked out in Penn State gear.
Allar captioned the post, “I love you 🫶🏼.”
Before taking over the starting job at Penn State, Allar traveled to Columbus for Bush’s spring sorority formal.
“Lots of love!” Bush outlined a photo of the couple via Instagram.
Bush traveled to State College to see Allar and Penn State defeat SMU in the first round of the College Football Playoff on December 21.
