Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is furious not to be invited to the final presentation ceremony of the Champions League 2025.

PCB FURIOUS IN ICC for not being invited
According to a PTI report, a fountain stated that the CEO of Pakistan Cricket Board, Sumir Ahmed, was present in the tournament director, but that the ICC was not invited to the stage for the final.
Ahmed was the only Pakistan representative in the venue, but was not invited to the final presentation ceremony due to a misunderstanding. The source also revealed that Mohsin Naqvi could not travel due to some commitments, but Sumir Ahmed was sent to represent Pakistan.
“The President of the PCB, Mohsin Naqvi, did not go to Dubai due to the previous commitments as Federal Interior Minister, but the CEO of the PCB was sent to represent Pakistan in the final and closing presentation,” said the source.
It is likely that the PCB will register the protest at the ICC on this subject, as they had the right to have their representative on stage the hosts of the competition. Despite some of the games in Dubai, Pakistan was the hosts of the tournament.

Why don’t India play Pakistan?
Pakistan was chosen as the original hosts of the tournament and were initially given their full accommodation rights. However, the BCCI stated that the Indian team could not be sent to Pakistan due to the refusal of the Indian government.
As a result, it was mutually concluded that India would play all its games in Dubai according to the hybrid model. All other games were played in three cities in Pakistan: Lahore, Rawalpindi and Karachi.
The final was scheduled to be held in Lahore or Dubai depending on the presence of India. With India winning the first semifinal, it was clear that the final would not be played in Pakistan and would play in Dubai.
