IPL 2025: PBKs vs DC Clash screamed

In the 58th Premier League India 2025 game, Shreyas Iyer’s Kings Punjab Kings (PBKs) hosted Thursday, May 8, at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamsala.

PBKs won the launch and chose to beat first, with the rain in the city. They started with the young Priyansh Arya (70 -year -old) opening duo and Prabhsimran Singh (50* 28 years old) building a good collaboration of 122 runs before Arya fell into the first eleventh ball.

Just after Arya’s removal, one of the streetlights turned off and players were asked to leave the field. The crowd was also told to evacuate the stadium and the party was made official.

This decision was made because Pakistan launched a cowardly attack in several Indian cities, including Pathankot, which is only 90 km from the stadium. A blackout was applied and alerts were heard in the neighboring towns. Therefore, BCCI decided not to risk -nothing.

In the meantime, the party will be reproduced between the Punjab kings and the Delhi capitals as the IPL 2025 rests, according to a report by The Indian Express.

BCCI informed the IPL teams about the 7 -day suspension on Friday morning

A meeting of the Emergency Governing Council was held after the suspension of the PBKs vs VS AD, and on Friday morning, BCCI sent a formal note to the IPL franchises to suspend the league for a week.

The decision was made public on Friday afternoon, but in the IPL franchises the message was passed on to help the rapid movement of players and support staff.

According to the same report, the players of abroad worked to look at the tensions between India and Pakistan and the abandonment of the Dharamsala Midway match, “worsened.”

For now, foreign players have been allowed to return to their respective countries, as international flights are operational and the BCCI is also ready to organize chartered flights if the need arises.

In addition, it was thought of sending foreign players and coaches to another country in the nearby surroundings, but without any confirmed date for the resumption of the IPL, they were sent home.

Players said they were ready for IPL 2025 in a week

According to reports, the BCCI told the IPL teams to keep their players and support staff for the restart of the IPL 2025 in a week, as they trust to carry out the competition without problems.

However, if the players and members of the support staff decide to return to the IPL 2025, it is unlikely that the IPL governing body will sanction them.

Above all, only 12 games and playoffs are kept in groups at IPL 2025 and the BCCI looks at a 14 -day window to complete the tournament.

However, the two -week window may not be enough due to the logistics challenges, and the possibilities that IPL 2025 will end in May, unless several heads of head.

According to reports, BCCI does not plan to change competition abroad, and places such as Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam and Kolkata will be used for the matches. In addition, if the IPL 2025 does not resume in the coming weeks, a September window could be used, with the Asia Cup, but it was canceled.
