The 30 -year -old White from Kennezov, Georgia, is suspected of killing the Decalb County police officer David Rose, 333, shortly before 5 pm, said the Georgian Investigation Bureau on Saturday.

The deadly incident unfolded when the white opened the fire before CDC campus, unleashing a flurry bullets that broke through several windows.

At least four CDC buildings were impressed, Director Susan Monores said in a report on X. Images shared by staff, showed several buildings with the windows, emphasizing the width of the damage at the place where thousands of scientists and staff are working on critical studies.

When the officers responded to the place, they found that Rose was critical and heard an additional gun that goes from the next pharmacy CVS. Rose was sent to the University Hospital of Emora to Cliffan -Rowd, where he died of injuries.

The officers entered the next pharmacy and placed a shooter on the second floor, at least one gunshot wound. Atlanta police chief Darin Shirabaum said it was unclear when she came from a police shooting early or when she was on herself.

The motif of shooting is not known.

Without naming White Friday night, Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens called him “a famous man who may be interested in certain things.”

The shooting occurred on the Clifton RD. Next to the campus, Emora, which also houses kindergarten with more than 90 children. None of them were injured.

GBI is now conducting the investigation and Atlanta FBI’s office said it also helps. GBI said he collects evidence and interviewed as part of his investigation, which, he said, will take a “long period”.

In September 2024, officer Rose joined the Decalb District Police Department, graduated from the Academy of Police in March and quickly received a reputation of dedication and professionalism, the department said. He used to serve Marine Infantry in Afghanistan.

He was survived by a pregnant wife and two children, The police have shown.

The Provisional Police Chief, Greg, said Rose is seeking to serve society.

“At this time, we ask the community prayer for his family, friends, his close and all the family of the Decalb County Police Department,” he said on Friday.

Republican Governor Brian Kemp He said his family “mourning today’s tragic loss of officer David Rose.”

“His service and memory will not be forgotten by the grateful state, and his relatives and @dekalbcounty employees will remain in our hearts and prayers when they mourn his passage, and on this painful day,” Kemp wrote on X.
