It’s a jolly start holiday season for Patrick Mahomes and his wife, Mahomes of Brittany!
“Very happy,” wrote Brittany, 29, via Instagram on Saturday, December 14, sharing photos from the couple’s night out at the Kansas City Chiefs Christmas party the night before.
Brittany, yes is pregnant with the couple’s third babylooking chic and festive in a red turtleneck dress. She completed her ensemble with a gold handbag and leopard print stilettos.
For glam, Brittany wore her hair in a high ponytail tied at several different points, which later caused problems for 29-year-old Patrick.
“Is anyone else’s husband going to pull their hair out and think he can pull these right out of your hair?” she joked in an Instagram Story video shared on Sunday, posting photos of the tossed clear hairbands intertwined with strands of her locks. “Because, yes, mine did that last night.”
The Chiefs quarterback, for his part, wore a striped Prada shirt and matching khaki pants from the brand to the festivities. In the photos, he wrapped a hand around Brittany’s waist and smiled.
The Chiefs held their annual holiday gathering in Kansas City on Friday, December 13. The next day, the team traveled to Cleveland, Ohio before the Sunday, December 15, football game against the Browns. The team from Missouri will next face the Houston Texans on December 21 and the Pittsburgh Steelers on December 25, respectively.
Before the “short weeks,” Patrick opened up about his training routine.
“I think Coach (Andy) Reid has a great plan going into it, so I’ll follow that and focus on this opponent,” Patrick said during a press conference earlier this week. “Then, as we go into another short week, and then the one after that, I’ll focus on those opponents.”
Patrick further noted that he felt “excited to play over Christmas” later this month.
“But, you never want to play so many games in this short period of time,” he added. “It’s not great for your body, but at the end of the day, it’s your job. You have to come to work and do it.”
Throughout Patrick’s NFL season, Brittany and the couple’s children have been games on the sidelines. (They share daughter Sterling, 3, and son Efydd, 20 months.)
“He doesn’t get nervous or stressed at all. That’s just what he likes to do,” Brittany previously said of game days during an appearance in August on the “WHOOP” podcast.. “I think he loves going into a new week getting new game plans, getting new challenges, getting new people he’s playing.”
