Taylor filed for a divorce from Russell after completing the filming on Water Season 2 (but before the chapters broadcast on Bravo). Taylor referred to oral and physical abuse in court documents as the reason for her division from Russell.
“It was a difficult decision but I have decided to file for a divorce from Russell,” he said in a statement at the time. “Although we have tried our best to work through our differences, I have concluded that it is in the best interests of our family.”
Taylor later have said Entertainment tonight that Russell had been physically aggressive “perhaps 20 times” during their marriage. At last, Russell left after he broke bones in her face.
“When I finally showed him the Messrs, just put it down and started crying,” he said. “I think he has to come to terms with the fact that this has gone on far too long.”
Taylor opened further around her aggressive marriage During Chapter 2025 of Discovery’s Investigation Hollywood demonsrevealing that it is still being disturbed by people asking why she stayed with Russell for so long.
“It’s a very difficult question when I have people asking why I stayed (with it),” he said.
“It is so complex and statistical most domestic violence returns seven times before they find the courage to leave,” explained Taylor in the special. “I really questioned myself, asking, ‘Am I mistreated?’”

Taylor discovered Russell’s body at his home rented in Los Angeles after apparent suicide. It was after report That Russell exceeded $ 1 million dollars in debt by his death.

A Taylor spokesman responded to the tragic news by saying, “Taylor Armstrong is ruined by the tragic events that have developed. She is asking for privacy at this time so that she can comfort her young daughter.”
Bravo says alone statement: “We are all in Bravo very sad by the tragic news of Russell Armstrong’s death. Our sympathy and thoughts are with the Armstrong family at this difficult time.”
Later, a coroner’s report set up that there were no signs of dirty play.

Despite the decision of the La Coroner, Russell’s sister Laurie Kelshoe Set the theory on NBC’s Today that her brother or sister might have been murdered.
“From the moment I got the call, I knew it wasn’t suicide,” he told NBC. “I don’t know if it was something in the wedding, I don’t know if his business, or the show, I don’t know.”
During Kelshoe’s Today Segment, reporter Miguel Almaguer He mentioned that the Los Angeles Police Department had not received any additional information that would guarantee that the case was reopened.
Taylor addressed his sister-in-law’s comments on Today In January 2012, when he insisted that Kelshoe had “little information about what went on” inside her marriage to Russell.

Beverly Hills Real House Wives Viewers watched the final months of Taylor and Russell’s wedding play out on camera.
Cast members faced Taylor memorable Lisa Vanderpump and Camille Grammer During a controversial concentration at Vanderpump Home. Grammer claimed that Taylor had trusted before Water Castmates for Russell Abuse but asked them not to raise it on camera.
Addressing the abusive rumors, Grammer reminded Armstrong, “We are not saying, but now we said it.”
Once Russell died, the Water Cast, Minus Taylor, was called back to Scene movie On August 29, 2011, where they addressed the tragic news.

Taylor left Beverly Hills Real House Wives as a cast member but would appear as a “friend” in season 4. He made several guest appearances throughout the subsequent seasons.
She said “Life after Bravo” In 2020 this was the right time to leave Water Because Los Angeles “needs to take some time off” to focus on raising Kennedy’s daughter.
“It was a bit scary for a while ‘because I couldn’t go anywhere and I had my little girl and I wanted to take her away for a while and not find it open to people constantly shouting and asking me questions about what happened,” he explained.

Arguably, Taylor became more famous for her connection with this meme than for her time on reality TV. He rolled the star with her viral success by offering to recreate the cat meme on his Cameo channel.

Taylor returned to reality TV for a second season Ultimate Women’s Tour The Real HouseWiveswhere she was again with Glanville over past tensions. Taylor Glanville faced damaging comments following Russell’s death.
She said Weekly US At the time there was “turmoil” throughout the filming, as well as some unexpected catharsis.

Bravo made history by announcing that Taylor would be the first housewife to change franchises when he became the “friend” of the cast on Orange County Real House Ladies Season 17.
Taylor made the best of his same season Rock by feudal with Costar Heather Dubrow over the role of acting. Unfortunately, her on -screen tension with Dubrow was not enough to secure her second season at Orange County.

Taylor confirmed to speculate that she Did not ask back over Rock Season 18 and would once again leave the Bravoverse.
