Paraglider survives

The Chinese Paraguay has survived random driving 8,500 m (27,800 feet) to the sky over northwest of China, a state media report.

55 -year -old Peng Yujian tested new equipment at 3000 m above sea level, over the mountains of Tiliya, when a rare rise or air current, known as a “cloud sucking”, pulled it 5,000 m above into a cloud education.

The events on Saturday were shot on a camera mounted on Mr. Peng, and the footage became viral after it was posted on the Dueen, the Chinese version of Tiktok.

He showed that Mr. Peng was holding the control of the glider, with his face and most of his body covered with ice.

“It was awful … everything was white. I didn’t see any direction. Without a compass I wouldn’t know what the way I was going. I thought I was flying straight, but I actually spun,” he said in China Media Group.

Mr. Peng narrowly survived the death, because the oxygen level at this height is thin, which is slightly lower than the 8,849 million peak. The temperature can also fall up to -40C.

“I wanted to leave quickly, but I just couldn’t. I was raised higher and higher until it was in the cloud,” he said.

Mr. Peng, who spent the paraglids for four and a half years, said he may have fainted during his descent, adding that the worst part of his trials tried to return control of the glider when he was a spiral in the air.

The Chinese authorities are investigating the incident and Mr Peng was dismissed for six months because the flight was unauthorized, state Global Times reports.

Mr. Peng did not intend to fly that day and only experienced the suitability and comfort of his parachute on the ground, said Global Times.

However, the strong wind lifted it out of the ground and became even harder until he encountered the rise that shot him into the clouds.
