Sarah Michelle Gellar scolded Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass on Tuesday as the Palisades fire burned Los Angeles.
“From the city of Los Angeles, you want everyone to evacuate, but you have a complete gridlock and no traffic police on the roads to help,” Gellar wrote in Instagram stories tagged on the official social media accounts of the city of Los Angeles and Bass.
The Palisades Fire, fueled by strong Santa Ana winds, started in the Santa Monica Mountains late Tuesday morning and quickly burned 200 acres within an hour, growing to nearly 3,000 acres by sunset. This is reported by the FOX forecaster.

Ex “Dancing with the Stars” professional dancer Valentin Chmerkovskiy took to social media to complain on Wednesday, writing: “5th largest economy on the planet. Firefighters didn’t have enough water pressure to do their job?! Are you kidding me?! Taxes we pay for infrastructure third world unbelievable?!
Sarah Foster wrote on XWe pay the highest taxes in California. Our fire hoses were empty. Our vegetation is overgrown, the brush has not been cleared. Our reservoirs were devastated by our governor because the tribal leaders wanted to preserve the fish. Our mayor has cut the budget of our fire department. But thank god addicts get their first aid kits. @MayorOfLA @GavinNewsom RETIRED. Your ultra-left politics have ruined our state. And so is our party.”
Famous fitness trainer Jillian Michaels recalled how she lost her home in 2018 Woolsey Fire as she went on X to criticize California leadership.
“The 5th largest economy on the planet. The firemen didn’t have enough water pressure to do their jobs?! Are you kidding me?! The taxes we pay for third world infrastructure are unbelievable?!”
“The mayor is apparently in Ghana,” she wrote. “The budget of fire departments was apparently cut by 17 million. And someone made the decision not to refill some of the tanks – now some of the fire hydrants are dry. Driving in California is more than negligence. This is absolutely unacceptable.”
In another post, Michaels continued: “California Governor @GavinNewsom is issuing a press release admitting they knew about the insane danger of last Sunday’s fire because he was offering fire trucks. And yet, he just called out the National Guard a few hours ago. Pacific Palisade ran out of water at 3 a.m. I’m very upset with the people in California who are left there as firefighters. This is not a partisan issue, this is pure incompetence and prioritization.”

James Woods, who lost his home Tuesday in the Palisades fire, wrote on X that the fire was not caused by “climate change” but by “liberal idiots like Gavin Newsom and Karen Bass.”

“First of all, one does not understand firefighting, and the other cannot fill water reservoirs,” he added. Throughout the day, Woods posted messages as he prepared to evacuate his home, and later gave fans the grim news that he had lost his home in Pacific Palisades.
Steve Guttenberg jumped into action to help firefighters and moved cars stranded on Sunset Boulevard from residents fleeing the fire, he told Fox News Digital exclusively. “It’s kind of like Zombieland, you know, with all these abandoned cars all over the street.”
Los Angeles Fire Department officials confirmed the Palisades fire broke out just after 11 a.m. near the southeast side of Palisades Drive. Evacuation orders were issued as the fire grew to approximately 200 hectares in size.

Gutenberg – known for his roles in “Police Academy” and “Three Men and a Baby” – urged people who left their cars during the evacuation to also leave their keys behind so crews could get to the fire.

“What people are doing is they’re abandoning their cars, and now it’s a crisis, and they’re not leaving their keys in their cars,” Gutenberg told Fox News Digital. “What happens is that the fire trucks can’t get up the street because they have all these abandoned vehicles that can’t move them. So I helped move the cars, put them up the hill and clear the way for the fire brigade.’
“I just wanted to see how I could help some of my neighbors, but it’s a ghost town.”
Gutenberg noted that the blaze was “the biggest fire we’ve ever seen in the Palisades. It’s huge.”
“We’ve had some small fires, but this one is definitely the biggest and it’s just burning out of control in some areas,” he said. “I managed to get here in some pocket where there’s no fire. So everyone’s safe and I just wanted to see how I can help some of my neighbors, but it’s a ghost town. Everyone’s gone.. And I think that’s important in a big fire like this.’

Reality show star Spencer Pratt and wife Heidi Montag have lost their home Palisade Firethey confirmed on their Snapchat accounts on Tuesday. In a series of videos, The star of “Hills”. showed the fire moving quickly over the hill toward their property.
“Well, it doesn’t look very good,” Pratt said as he filmed the fire on the mountain behind their home. “This is the first time I’ve seen the flames go up. Oh man. Okay, I guess I’ll go pack.”

He later posted a video from his car in which he claimed to have watched their house burn on security cameras. Pratt shared a photo of the baby’s room, saying it was burned out in the shape of a heart.

Chris Pratt posted on X and asked people to join him in praying for the “brave firefighters who sacrifice so much to save our homes and our city.”
“Jesus, protect the lives of those fighting the flames and the lives of those who were unable to evacuate,” he wrote.
Former Food Network personality Sandra Lee shared a carousel of photos from around Malibu on Tuesday before revealing she had lost her home early Wednesday morning.

“I don’t know what to say, I don’t know how to share it, I don’t know what to do … all my stuff, all the last five years of my life. So the only thing I can do is go to work, and I’m going to go to work today, like I go to work every day, and I’m going to restore it, I don’t know how.
