Palestinian and Israeli representatives turn to the meeting

Riyadh Mansour, Palestine Permanent Observer at the UN, and Jonathan Miller, Deputy Permanent Representative of Israel to the UN, addressed an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council in New York.

Mansour said that when he highly assessed the support of the Council members, it was “insufficient”.

“You have to act. You have to do something with that. You have to stop it,” he said.

Meanwhile, Miller called on the UN to direct his attention to Hamas’s dismantling and that he was less “not urgency but hypocrisy”.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu defended his government’s plan to take over gas, saying that the “best way” would end the war.
