Pakistan, Afghanistan and Sri Lanka set up a T20 Tri-Series ahead of the ICC T20 2026 World Cup
On Sunday, September 7, the Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) confirmed that the T20 Tri-Nation series will take place throughout the Rawalpindi Criclet stadium and the Gaddafi stadium in Lahore. The series will be reproduced in a double -round format, with each team against the other twice.

The first two teams will play the final on November 29 in Lahore. The T20 Tri-Nation series starts with Pakistan facing Afghanistan in Rawalpindi on November 17. Afghanistan will face Sri Lanka on November 19, followed by Pakistan who took over the islanders in Lahore on November 22.
A total of seven T20I games will be played between the three teams in November.
