Pakistan’s former -Junaid Khan, a new controversy, has turned a turn to India directly, calling into question the equity of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 calendar. Junaid Khan struck the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 program with a drop in the jaw.
Former Pakistani Cricter accused the blue men of winning the ICC Champions Troophy 2025 matches due to the favor of the global body. His explosive statements have added fuel to the continued debate on whether blue men enjoyed an unfair advantage in the tournament.
In front of the highest final between Blue and New Zealand men in Dubai on March 9, Junaid Khan pointed an impressive contrast in travel distances between the teams of the ICC Champions Trophy in 2025.
He explained how teams, such as New Zealand and South -Africa, were forced to endure exhausting trips, while blue men remained comfortably parked in Dubai throughout their games.
With New Zealand, which covered more than 7,000 kilometers and south -Africa more than 3,000, Junaid raised serious questions about the biased program of the prestigious tournament on the zero travel of Blue’s men. He also hit the ICC to design the calendar to favor men in blue.
He also said that some teams win the matches for their skills, but some benefits from the programming as they took an excavation on the team led by Rohit Sharma to light discussions on whether the 2025 Champions Trophy finalist had an unfair advantage through strategic programming.
Junaid Khan published on his X handle in front of the CT 2025 final: “The distance traveled between matches in the Champions League trophy 2025:
Some teams win by skill, some win by programming … #indvsnzfinal #indvsnz #Championstrophy2025 #Championtrophy. “”
Distance traveled between matches in the Champions Trophy 2025:
• New Zealand: 7,150 km ✈️
• South -Africa: 3,286 km ✈️
• India: 0 km 🏡
Some teams win by skill, some win by programming … #indvsnzfinal #indvsnz #ChampionsTrophy2025 #ChampiCtropia

Above all, the ICC and Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) were forced to host the matches of men in blue in a neutral enclosure after BCCI refused to send the team to Pakistan for political problems and security reasons. Therefore, Dubai was selected as a place for his games, while other teams traveled through several cities in Pakistan and some also to the United Arab Emirates.
Well, South -Africa faced the worst, forced to fly to Dubai and return to Pakistan in about 12 hours, as there was no clarity in the semifinalists until the game of the final group of India and New Zealand. But in this chaos, the Indian Cricket team avoided the fatigue of the trip and made the most of Dubai’s conditions.
Even the Indian Pacific Mohammed Shami admitted that they gain some benefit from playing all their games in Dubai, as they know the conditions and behavior of the pitch. But the Indian pattern Rohit Sharma and the main coach Gautam Gambhir denied having any advantage.
Both Gamhir and Rohit have stated that Dubai is not their home ground and they remain strangers on the grounds before the Games. However, legends like Sunil Gavaskar also admitted that blue men get benefits of playing all their games in Dubai.
