Padma Lakshmi She said her 15 -year -old daughter, Krishna, had a strong view in terms of her sense of style.

Krishna said “Before we leave the house, we are quite cruel” about giving opinion on each other’s costumes. She revealed that she will say to her mother, “You cannot wear that in public with me.”
“It’s like, ‘You’re not going out in that,'” Lakshmi, 55, told the outlet. “And she always tells me to dress more provocative.”
“And she always tells me to dress less provocative,” added Krishna.
“Some of your skirts are a bit short for me,” said Lakshmi. “And a little short to you also ps ”

Like, if I’m in a bad mood, or I’m stiff, she’ll come and she’ll shake me up, and she’ll say, ‘Mum, relax.” Or she’ll say, ‘Come on, you’re funny than this.’ “
Lakshmi noticed, “She doesn’t want me to be afraid to be who I am, because she sometimes thinks I’m really controlled. And she likes how I’m with her when no one is around.”
At one point in the clip, the mother and daughter discuss who is more likely to be late for their own marriage.
“I don’t believe in marriage,” said Lakshmi. “I’m not getting married.”
For that, Krishna quoted, “You would probably be late for your own funeral if you could.”
Lakshmi welcomed her only child in 2010 with a partner at the time Adam dellShe had dated her divorce in 2007 from the author Salman Rushdie.
She flirting in 2020 that Krishna, an ambitious actress, is “the real star in the family” ever since she was born. “I’m a fan of my daughter’s creativity,” he told Us Weekly at the time. “She’s wild and funny and a great singer.
In her new interview with India VogueLakshmi said these days, “It’s just the two of us under one roof. While I’m going through perimenopos, she goes through puberty. It’s a lot of feminine energy.”
He continued, “It’s lovely what Krishna said earlier, that we are the most important thing in each other’s lives. Because five years from now, she will have her own life. So I want to make sure she has a complete understanding of what her craft is and what being an artist means.”
