Former Public Address Kansas City Chiefs Dale Carter responded to replace him after announcing he had stop working for the team after 16 years.

Rohr made comments on the post, “You are all class Dale Carter And you left big shoes to fill. I will try to upload the standard! “
Carter announced on Friday, September 12, that he was leaving his post as a public address publisher at Arrowhead Stadium.
The beloved member of the kingdom had become known for his iconic “It’s. Third. Down.” Call inside the stadium that led, ironically, to his resignation.
“Last season, as we entered the playoffs, the people I work for (65 TPT Productions) told me that they heard from ‘high level’ that someone had heard a man else in another stadium interrupting him on a 3rd downward and they wanted me to experiment with different calls,” Carter wrote through Facebook on Friday. “Some of you held on to that and mentioned you noticed. I didn’t agree with what they wanted me to do but I’ve always been a team player and tried to do whatever they wanted me to try. Until this week.”
Carter received a call on September 9 informing him “that they want the BOI PA other (the one who makes activities before the game and reads the ads in the game) starting to make the 3rd call down to shake things up.”
“That was my red line,” Carter wrote. “I wish them good luck.”
Carter said he was in peace with his decision, which would give him more time to “focus on my family, radio, (my) podcast and my 2026 run for Jackson’s County Legislature.”
“I was wonderful to be the publisher of which Chiefs for 16 seasons along with 1 Preseason Game,” he wrote. “I never missed a game during that time (even going to London for a 48 -hour hurricane). I worked every big fall/winter holiday. I feel like I’ve given everything I had. It’s time to close that episode.”
The morning after the chiefs’ home opener On Sunday-a-tossed 20-17 to the Philadelphia Eagles-Carter retreated that it could take some time to adapt to his new normal.
“I admit… Yesterday was strange to me,” Carter wrote through Facebook on Monday, September 15.
