Ozzy Osbourne dies “Black Saturday”, a few weeks after saying goodbye

Ozi Osbourne, one of the most recognizable and influential musicians in the rock, died at the age of 76.

As a frontman Black Saturday, the music born in Birmingham is attributed to the invention of heavy metals, thanks to songs as “Iron Man” and “Paranoij”.

Less than three weeks ago, Prince Darkness held a farewell concert in his hometown, which supported many musicians he inspired, including Metallica and Guns ‘N’ Roses.

In his statement, his family said, “This is more sad than simple words, we can convey that we should report that our favorite Ozi Osbourne passed away this morning. He was with his family and surrounded by love.”

John Michael Osbourne was born, he abandoned school at the age of 15, having spent several low -paying jobs and having spent a brief spell in prison for theft before starting his music career.

Singing with several local groups, he joined the Black Sabbath along with guitarist Tony, bass player Jizer Batler and drummer Bill Ward in the late 1960s.

They developed a unique sound inspired by blues, but slower, louder and sinister – with frequent links to acult.
