Oponent of Manny Pacquiao: Rolando Romero in the Pole Position for the next struggle

Rolando ‘Rolly’ Romero is the leader of being Manny Pacquiao’s next opponent after his comeback last weekend. Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis are also options for the 46 -year -old Pacquiah, but less likely.

The fight against the heavy weight champion of the WBA, Romero (17-2, 13 kos), would give Pacquiao (62-8-2, 39 kos) his second consecutive title after it becomes empty in its majority tie of twelve rounds against the champion of 147 pounds of the WBC, Martio Barrios, last Saturday, July 19th.

Romero leads Pacquiao options

Fans will not be satisfied with Pacquiao, getting a second shot to jump the line for another title, but if the World Boxing Association is OK, the fight can happen.

Pacquiao had a good appearance for a middle -aged person in his fight against Barrios, but instead of the level that was years ago. The struggle showed the terrible Barrios, more than saying anything about Pacquiao. Manny seemed to be no party for most of the first 15 fighters, but against Barrios, he was at his level.

“There is talk of Mayweather, Gervonta, a resale with Barrios, but it seems that today the most likely rival of Pacquiao could be Rolly Romero,” said Salvador Rodriguez. X.

Pacquiao’s advisor, Sean Gibbons, wanted a larger name that could make purchases for PPV for the next Manny struggle. Mentioned Tank Davis and Rolly. It would probably be too expensive to convince Tank to accept a fight against Pacquiao.

Rolly is not a ppv draw

Romero is no longer a PPV draw that Mario Barrios. There is no real difference. If they are going to place Pacquiao vs. Romero on PPV, there will be no increase in purchases. Even with Rolly trying to be entertaining, there will not be many purchases. It can even be less purchases because Rolly will not be comfortable to speak the rubbish.

Given the advanced age of Pacquiao, there are not many fans who want to see an old fighter like him. They cannot be identified with a 46 -year -old and consider it a comeback for money driven by money.
