Despite being nominated for the best actor in the Oscars five times so far, DiCaprio has only won for her role The dial. For our money, DiCaprio was never better than it was in Wall Street Wolf When he played a white collar offender, Jordan Belfort. While nominated for his role, he did not win DiCaprio, and is one of the biggest snubs of the last 15 years.
Perhaps the most striking part of DiCaprio’s performance is that the audience never hates Belfort as much as they should. As portrayed in the film, Belfort is a terrible person who defines himself by Avarice. Greed is his religion, and he does not really love anyone other than himself. That’s not the kind of guy that film audiences tend to support, but DiCaprio is so charismatic in the role that it could almost reach any of the crimes introduced in the film.

Margot Robbie Without coming out of nowhere, and she has been working regularly since 2008. Nadine caridi – That made her a real movie star. And it’s not hard to see why. Robbie is stunning and dynamic in the film, and it is almost impossible to take off your eyes.
Robbie’s real talent was paired with DiCaprio, an actor who had much more experience in big films than he did at the time. Not only did Robbie match the energy and intensity of DiCaprio, he did so in a way he won for the audience. In retrospect, Robbie’s casting in this role was very lucky, and she makes the film better just by being in it.

It seems that Martin Scorsese is no longer getting out of bed for anything less than a great crime story. Almost all Scorsese movies of the last three decades have turned around a crime in some way, from the classics like Goodfellas and Cassette to his latest movie, The slaughterers of the flower moon. Wall Street Wolf As a crime story as well, just not in the same way.
Belfort never needed guns to crave the fool out of their money. His words and charisma were more persuasive than any weapon could be. Most Belfort victims were ready to give him money in the name of their own greed. Once Belfort flush with cash, he is committed to all lower, including alcohol and drugs.
Leonardo DiCaprio in The Wolf of Wall Street
Proamount Pictures/Crogleky Everett CollectionThe real irony for the fate of Belfort is that he took much more money than any ordinary thief, and basically escaped many of the legal consequences for his actions. He even reappeared with a new way to benefit from his ability to convince people to buy almost anything. If that’s not the American dream in 2025, then we don’t know what is.
