England has been treated a setback ahead of his next accessories, with striker Ollie Watkins withdrawing from the workforce due to injury.
The Aston Villa striker, who played a key role in the England race in the semifinals of the Euro 2024, had joined with the side of Thomas Tuchel for his training field in Spain.
However, the football association has confirmed that Watkins will not play any part in the international rest of June, as a precaution on a smaller number.
“Ollie Watkins will not participate in the next games of England against Andorra and Senegal,” said the FA in a statement.
“Aston Villa striker has retired from the workforce as a precaution due to a minor injury. A workforce of 25 men will continue to prepare for the FIFA World Cup classification on Saturday 2026 at the RCDE Stadium in Barcelona.”
Saturday’s crash with Andorra marks the third K in England K, as they want to keep a perfect start on the 2026 World Cup road. The three lions opened the campaign with victories on Albania and Latvia in Wembley in March and are a great favorite to continue with 164th in the world.
