McAfee has not publicly addressed his role in spreading the rumor. Weekly US reached out to ESPN for comments.
“I’m not a public figure you can go talk about on your show for more scenes,” said Cornett, who was torn when discussing the impact of the rumor and how she has smelled her reputation.
“I don’t think these boys realize what they are doing to people,” he added. “It’s terrible. It’s terrible. And having your life ruined by people they don’t have the idea of who you are the worst feeling in the world. It makes you feel so lonely.”

“I would like people to be held accountable for what they have done,” said the outlet Cornett. “You ruin my life by talking about it on your free show but comment, but I waited up to 5 in the morning, every night, throwing up, not eating because I’m so anxious about what is going to happen for the rest of my life.”
