Seven others, including Ruby Perez, were also rescued, local media reported.

More than two dozen people were killed and 160 were injured in the Dominican capital at the beginning of Tuesday, when a landmark nightclub, where politicians, athletes and others attended the Merengue concert, the Associated Press reported.

Almost 12 hours after the tops of the nightclub collapsed on the patrons, the rescue brigades were still pulling out those who survived the debris. At the scene, firefighters used blocks of broken concrete and sawed pieces of wood to lift heavy debris when the noise of training that breaks through the concrete was filled with air.
It was not immediately clear that it led to the roof cliff.

Jet Set made a statement stating that it cooperates with the authorities.
“The loss of human life leaves us in a state of deep pain and disappointment,” the statement reads.

Dotel played 13 MLB teams during his 15-year major league career. He debuted with New York MatsAnd the last time appeared in the game with Detroit Tigers in 2013.
The pitcher was a member of the Cardinals team who defeated Texas Raven in the 2011 SEVEN World Series.
