Oasis members have spoken out after a fan suffer a fatal fall From the highest level at London’s Wembley Stadium during Saturday’s Reunion Concert, August 2, reunion.
“We are shocked and sad (to learn about the individual’s death),” the band, led by the brothers Nail and Liam gallaghersaid in a Sunday, August 3 statement to the BBC. “Oasis would like to extend our sincere condolences to the family and friends of the person concerned.”
A concert at Saturday’s show fell off the top tier of the arena, a spokesman for London Metropolitan Police told the BBC. Was found with “injuries consistent with fall,” by representative, and was clearly dead on the scene.
Wembley also issued a statement on the man, whose identity has not been publicly revealed.

Noel and Liam had a long -standing competition during the band’s peak, with the older brother even giving up the group on two different occasions.
“I’ve learned, instead of arguing things out with him and finishing in fighting, that I’m working on his psychology and has completely released me now. It’s really shocked to death,” said Noel Spin Magazine in 2005. “I can make him make decisions he thinks, but they really belong to me. Without fighting. It’s an art I’ve learned.”
