Novak Djokovic reflects on the future after the open loss of French

Novak Djokovic may have played his last match in Open French.

The 24-time big helmet’s champion hoped to demonstrate his record in Rionda Garros this weekend on a trip to the men’s singles final, but he lost to Jennik’s sinner in direct sets on Friday.

38 -year -old Djokovic was emotional when he collected his bags. He kissed his hand and touched the clay surface in the Philip-Chart court. He then told about the match, signaling that he was the last at the French Open.

“I mean, it could have been the last match I played here, so I don’t know. So I was a little more emotional even in the end,” he said.

“But when it was a farewell Rioland-Harros match for me in my career, it was great in terms of the atmosphere and what I got from the crowd.”

“Do I want to play more? Yes, I do. But will I play here in 12 months? I don’t know,” he added. “I said it might be my last match (here). I didn’t say it so.”

Jokovic said he plans to compete in Wimbledon. Last year, for the first time in seven years, Serbian Tennis Pro was unable to win a grand slam. His last victory took place in 2023 on the US Open. His last victory in Wimbledon was in 2022.

“I feel like I want to play Wimbledon. I want to play us open. The two, for sure. The rest I’m not so sure,” he said.
