Nottingham Forest Interest on the Brentford Wiss striker

According to reports, Nottingham Forest has renewed his interest in bringing Brentford Yoane Wissa striker on the city.

Athletic David Ornstein reports that Forest has made a new offer for the 28-year-old Congo International after trying to sign it in January for about 22 million pounds, but that the most recent offer has been rejected.

It is believed that Brentford maintains an improved offer for Wissa, who scored 19 goals from the Premier League last season and contributed four assists.

It is believed that the bees value the striker of more than 50 million pounds: a price that can increase in the event that Bryan Mbeumo, which is the goal of Manchester United, would leave the GTECH community stadium.

Wissa has a year left in his current contract, in addition to an extension option of 12 months, after joining Brentford of the French club Lorient in August 2021.

Reports occur after a summer of significant change in Brentford. In June, Keith Andrews, the former midfielder and formerly the club coach, was appointed successor to Thomas Frank after the Dane replaced Ange Postecoglou in Tottenham.

Meanwhile, the experienced midfielder and the transfer of captain Christian Norgaard to Arsenal was confirmed on Thursday.
