Nobel Winner of the Oscar Aryas Peace Prize says we canceled our visa

Former President Costa Rica, Oscar Arias, says his visa in the US has been canceled.

Arias, Nobel laureate, said he was informed about the decision a few weeks after he publicly criticized Donald Trump, comparing the behavior of the US president with the Roman emperor.

The 84-year-old guy, who was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for his role in Central America, said the US authorities did not give explanations.

However, Arias hinted that it could be due to its rapprochement with China for the time when he was president from 2006 to 2010.

Speaking to a press conference in the Costa Rica capital, San Khase, Arias said he “did not represent” what is the reason for the cancellation.

He said he had received a few lines from the US government, which reported the decision.

He added that he believed that it was not the President of Trump, but the US State Department has decided.

Although he said that he would think about the reason for canceling the visa, he noted that “I had established diplomatic relations with China.

“This, of course, is of course all over the world,” he told reporters in his decision in 2007 to switch ties with Taiwan and create them with China.

The Trump administration sought to oppose China’s influence in the Western Hemisphere and accused a number of Central America’s governments of thinking in Chinese and Chinese companies.

However, he supports the current President Costa Rica Rodrigo Chavez, approving his decision to exclude Chinese companies from participating in 5G in Costa.

But this was perceived by the proximity between President Chavez and the United States criticized Aryas, who wrote a position on social media in February, saying that “it was easy for a small country to disagree with the US government, the less when his president behaves like a Roman emperor, telling about the rest of the world.”

He added that “during my governments, Costa -Incorns never received orders from Washington, as if we were banana republics.”

Arias is not the only Costa -Leap who canceled his visa in the US. Three members of the National Assembly of the country who opposed President Chavez’s decree to exclude Chinese companies involved in 5G development also canceled them.
