Throughout his career he closed the horns with some of the biggest names in the cricket – of Sachin tendulkar and Brian Lara into Ricky ponting and Steve Waugh. Many believed that Tendulkar gave him the hardest moment with his unmatched technique, but Akram recently revealed a surprising name when he was asked to identify the most difficult batter he was inclined to.
Wasim Akram names the hardest batter
Speaking to Stick to Cricket, Akram revealed that it was New Zealand Martin Crowe He emphasized as the most difficult opponent that he faced with the international cricket. Akram highlighted two important aspects: Crowe’s ability to constantly mark against Pakistan during a time when Fast Bowling was in its fiercest and second Waqar young Introduced into the world. At a time when most batters struggled even to read the ball movement, Crowe showed a notable technique and patience, often neutralizing Pakistan’s burning rhythm attack with his calmness and battle.

Recorded 17 centuries and 35 half a century, with his monumental 299 against Sri Lanka Subtracting one of its finest entrances. Prior to his retirement, Crowe had several New Zealand’s shake records, including most tests and centuries: reference points that showed their stature as one of the biggest kiwi batters of all time.
