Nikki Garcia spoke out after details of his divorce settlement with ex-husband Artem Chigvintsev revealed.
“Everyone had a view of Artem and a divorce settlement I. It’s everywhere,” Nikki, 41, shared during the episode on Thursday, May 22, “The Nikki & Brie Show” podcast.
Nikki first explained that his divorce from Chigvintsev, 42, “nothing to do” with the “event” of August 2024 between the two.
Chigvintsev was ordered on a felony domestic violence charge after alleged physical change between them. The charges have since been dropped. Nikki and cigvintsev filed for divorce Following the incident. Them settle three months later. Tmz broke the News of their divorce settlement – revealing that Nikki has to pay a large amount of money to Chigvintsev – earlier this month. (Nikki and Cigvintsev share Matteo’s 4 -year -old son.)
“Divorce has to deal with the paper, the contract you signed during wedding. The day of the wedding, at the pre -marriage court, anyway,” Nikki continued on Thursday. “So our settlement is what everyone saw. Yes, I had to give him $ 200,000. Spousal support, Alimony.”
Nikki’s sister, Garcia briethrown in, adding, “That’s what happens when you’re the bread winner.”
Nikki claimed she “had a robbery” with their settlement, “which is crazy to say,” he added.

Getty images (2)“Our judge – we did private mediation – said at the end, ‘This is the first time in all the years I have done this, where a woman had to pay a man.’ The judge said, ‘You should be so pleased that you built such an empire that someone wanted a piece of it,’ ”Nikki remembered, noting that she promised the judge to make any future man sign a prenp before marriage.
“It was nice to hear that … even though it hurts because I broke my neck for that money,” added Nikki. “That money, all is my deserving money.”
Brie turned in again, telling listeners she told Nikki that Chigvintsev needed to “sign a woodup” before they got married – but they never did.
“They’re all like, ‘Oh, so he got the money because she lost.’ No, no. “They put the income in, and they go, ‘Boom, this one makes more money. This is what owes you every month. ‘”
Nikki said “at any time” Until Matteo is 18 years old, Hi and Cigvintsev can go back to court because “child maintenance changes.” He added, “It’s absolutely having a child in marriage. That’s all.”
Nikki also told listeners that she and Cigvintsev were “in a great place” right now.
“We’re coparenting so amazing, and it makes Matteo life so amazing, and I don’t want it in any other way,” he said. “When all this came up, it sucks because things in Matteo’s world right now (are) so great because Artem and I are so on the same page, and I want that.”
The former WWE star said paying for child maintenance does not “bother me” because she wants the best for Matteo.
“Child maintenance is so that the child could have an equal life in both homes. That’s where it comes from, and so it’s hard,” Nikki continued. “I don’t even think twice about it because I’m like, that makes Matteo also 50/50, half of his other time is a good life.”
Nikki also addressed a public speculation around August 2024 when the alleged incident happened between her and Cigvintsev.
“I’ve been so damning honest from day one and that’s why when everyone says, ‘She’s bright, she’s so happy,’ because I’ve lived in my truth,” he said. “I know how to take accountability. I know what it’s like not to be perfect. I am not a perfect person, but if anything like that, if it were opposite, I would have taken accountability. I would have said,“ I’m F *** up. I need help, ”but that’s not me that day.”
