The army stated that one of its units was deployed after a report on the theft of cattle, but the operation turned out to be “ambushes”.
It is often difficult to check out the real number of casualties in such attacks from the restrictions on access and fear of repression among witnesses and local media.
On Tuesday, Mr. -no questioned why civilians were still subjected to such uncertainty, and urged the government to prioritize citizens’ security and dignity.
“It is time for specific answers, strengthen the presence of a state vulnerable area and will show that every life of Nigerian matters,” he posted on Facebook.
