Nigeria’s Government prohibits Edris Abdulkarem, criticizing President Tinubo

Nigeria’s authorities have banned the broadcasters to play the song “Tell your dad that criticizes the country’s leader.

The lyrics of the songs by the artist Edris Abdulkarem, President Slam Ball Tinuba and call on his influential Son’s son to tell his father “people dying” through difficulties and uncertainty, and there is a “hunger” in the country.

In a letter to television and radio stations, the National Translation Commission (NBC), which issues a license and regulated the industry, ordered the track not to play, saying that it violates the country’s broadcasting code.

NBC has said it is believed that the content of your dad is “inappropriate” and “undesirable” adding that it does not meet the standards of public decency.

The song, released earlier in the week, has attracted a lot of attention in the social media in Nigeria and provoked a discussion on the economic situation and security in the country.
