Nigerian Pilot -Testes positively on alcohol after the aircraft left the runway

The pilot and pilot experienced a positive alcohol after the plane, they worked from the runway when landing in Nigeria.

The Nigerian Security Investigation Bureau (NSIB) demonstrated a couple after the accident in July at the Port -Church International Airport. In addition, the crew member tested positive on cannabis.

The NSIB tests found that the pilot, and the pilot experienced a positive one at Etile-Glucuronid (ETG), indicating recent alcohol intake.

Cabin crew also also tested positive at (THC), a psychoactive component in cannabis.

In a statement, Air Peace stated that it did not receive the results of toxicology test from NSIB.

“We will not yet receive official communication from NSIB on such findings within a month after the incident and after the test crew for alcohol, which occurred in less than an hour of the incident,” Air Peace said.

The pilot had a total flight time for more than 18,000 hours, while the pilot at the age of 28 had almost 1200 hours.

NSIB says his investigations are still ongoing. So far, he has recommended to improve learning and enhanced internal procedures.

Despite the fact that there were no accidents in Nigeria in Nigeria, there were cases where the aircraft overcame the runway and tires that were torn during the planting.

Earlier this month, the aviation authorities launched a new flight data processing center aimed at improving the safety of the aircraft, but the stakeholders say that in this sector additional security measures and advanced technologies need to be launched.
