The actress, 57, offered insight into her marriage to Urban, 57, when asked if she sang in the shower. “I will,” he said In a Magazine in an interview published on Friday evening, January 3. “I also hear Keith singing in the shower, and I will hear his new songs forming.”
Kidman elaborated on the arrangement of her bathroom. “We have a double shower,” he added. “The double-headed shower: key to a successful marriage. Separate commodes and a double shower!”
The couple, who been married since 2006these are not the only ones who have discussed the layout of their bathroom. Daryl Sabara a Meghan Trainor they made headlines when discussing the special feature they had installed in their home.
“We got a new house, and we built,” Trainor, 31, said on the “Why Won’t You Date Me?” podcast in October 2021. “Nobody knows this, but in our bathroom, there was one toilet, and many times in the middle of the night when we’re with the baby, we have to pee at the same time . So I was like, ‘Can we have two toilets next to each other please?'”
He added: “We have two toilets sitting next to each other, and we’ve only pooped together twice. We pee a lot at the same time. “
Trainor later defended discussing the duo’s bathroom habits. “I thought someone might be interested in it, I just didn’t think it would go viral like it did – to the point where it was affecting our relationship,” she said on an episode of the podcast “Pretty Basic” in July 2022. “Daryl was like, ‘You need to stop.’ I said ‘Why? People love it!’”
Despite moving homesTrainor and Sabara, 32, still find a way to keep the tradition alive.
“We’re moving into a new house, and it has a toilet that faces like this, and a bidet across from it,” Trainor, 30, said in a July 2024 episode of Dax Shepard‘s “Armchair Expert” podcast. “So I need to make this (bidet) a toilet. So it’s going to be a little different, but it’s a tighter bathroom area, so we’ll be close. Knees to knees. And that’s better, I want to see it.”
The singer remembered how the setup started, adding, “When we first got there, there was, like, an old-school bidet, and I was like, ‘We’re not going to use that.’ I was like, ‘I’ve got an extra toilet, let’s pop that one next to it,’ and my plumber was laughing at me. And I said, ‘What’s so funny, dude? Get up there! Like, go for it.’”
Although it seems like taking a shower is a normal part of your day, some stars have admitted that the habit can change based on circumstances. Mila Kunis raised plenty of eyebrows when she admitted that her upbringing affected her view on personal hygiene because “she didn’t shower much” as a child (…)
According to Trainor, it was their second toilet at that time added for practical reasons.
“This is why we did it. Because we have young babies, so we get up every hour on the hour, and this dude pees like a girl, so I was like, ‘Get out of my way, I have to piss, ‘” he recalled. “Sometimes, if I’m peeing and he has to go, he’ll open my legs and I go, ‘Get in!’ And he’s like, ‘No, I’m not doing that.’ There is a shower, count out. So I solved this crime, and I was like, ‘We’re going to pee at the same time, in our own bowls.'”
She continued: “Oh, (but) I don’t like him moping next to me. I tell him that. I go, ‘You know you’re not supposed to.’ We just pee. We’re not s—tin’. You assumed dirt, didn’t you?”
