As tensions within her extended family remain high, Nicola Peltz preparing to go to court over the death of her beloved dog.
Peltz, wife Brooklyn Beckhamhas been ordered by a judge in New York to appear for deposition on October 30, according to court documents obtained by Weekly US.
The deposition surrounds a legal case filed by Peltz, 30, against the dog grandchild of New York Houndspa, the owner of the company Deborah Gittleman And groom Jony ceballos.
In the legal case, Peltz accused the defendants of causing the death of his Chihuahua Nala directly, who died in June 2024.

As part of the deposition, Nicola is asked to authorize the release of Nala’s medical records, in particular the necropsy report.
In her original lawsuit, Nicola claimed that Nala died at the age of 9 because of “abusive of pinkers.”
Peltz claimed she had problems with Ceballos since she started using Houndspa services. Despite those feelings allegedly known, Ceballos was sent to Peltz home to work on five of her dogs.
“Nala entered the stinking spot, a happy, healthy dog, but returned injured and in serious physical distress – breathing heavily and wheezing, with his chest beating,” he claimed the legal case. “As poor Nala suffered, Nicola rushed to the vet, a fifteen -minute journey away.”
The suit continued, “The veterinarian noticed that Nala’s tongue was blue, she had fluid in her lungs, and suffered neurological damage. Nala was given on oxygen and cared for as Nicola was distressing and emotional as a testament to her you.”
Nala is alleged to have died “only two hours” after being the groom’s van with Ceballos.
David and Victoria Beckham are exploring the big cut in their relationship with their son Brooklyn. The legal case demanded indefinite compensation, claiming that Ceballos “not only cared for it properly, but also intentionally abused and/or abused the dog, with a complete callous disregard for her safety, health and well-being. Ceballos actions seriously, and eventually fatal, injured Nala.
In February, Ceballos denied any wrongdoing in Nala’s death.
According to court documents obtained by Us, Ceballos attorneys said that Peltz’s legal case did not “indicate the cause of action” and was “unable to perform as contractively provided.”
Weekly US reached out to Peltz and Houndspa for comments.
Peltz, who registered the Yogi’s House’s Dog Rescue Institute in September 2022, announced the death of Nala with an emotional social media post.
“This has been the hardest month of my life,” shared Nicola by Instagram. “I can’t even find the words to describe my heart at so many levels. Nala was perfectly healthy when he went to the grooms yesterday but came out overdone and I couldn’t catch her breath.
She continued, “Her life was taken off her way too soon. She was my beautiful queen and stayed by my side for 9 years through everything. Be careful to who you send your dogs because you don’t know what’s going on behind closed doors. 1 day without nala on earth feels like eternity.
News of the deposition comes as Peltz and Brooklyn, 26, become embroidered in a standoff with Brooklyn parents, David and Victoria Beckham.

Earlier this month, Source reported only Us that the four “have been in touch” since Peltz and Brooklyn – who married in April 2022 – decided Skip David’s 50th birthday celebration in London on May 3.
“There has been no sort of resolution on either side,” he said the interior.
The source added, “Brooklyn is trying to let things go at the moment and gives everyone a place,” which includes him and his wife “just doing their own thing” at their home in Los Angeles.
“They have their own separate lives and have been continuing for the time being,” the source said.
