Nitish Rana has caused a new drama around the future of Sanju Samson with Rajasthan Royals auction in front of the IPL 2026 auction. Nitish Rana, who captured the West Delhi Lions in the glory of the Delhi 2025 Premier League (DPL 2025), left a shameless suggestion on Sanju Samson.
After the West Delhi Lions trampled the Central Delhi Kings by six doctors in the DPL 2025 final in the Arun Jaitley Stadium on August 31 to lift the trophy, the left side was involved in a light discussion with the RAJ Ramit Jain and dropped a massive excursion on the buzz of social networks.
For weeks, there have been speculations that Sanju Samson will leave the Rajasthan Royals, and will be in action for a franchise different from IPL 2026. It is also said that Samson has already asked the Royals to release him or that he would be commercial before the IPL 2026 auction.

Now Rana, who played under Sanju Samson’s captaincy at the IPL 2025 for the Rajasthan Royals, added fuel to those rumors, leaving behind the truth behind the rumors. During a quick round with RJ Ramit Jain, Rana was asked to share something about his RR teammates that the world does not know.
The RJ asked, “What is the world the world does not know about Sanju Samson?” To which, Delhi’s whisk replied quickly by saying, “Where will he play next year?”
When asked about Jofra Archer, Rana said that the fast diaper from England is a “great football fan”. Interestingly, when the name of the Young Feel of Battle of Vibhav Suryavanshi, the pattern of West Delhi Lions questioned -jokingly, only later to avoid creating any controversy.
There have already been controversy over the age of Suryavanshi, so Rana responded by saying, “Are you 14 years old or not?” Before saying “forgiveness” with a laugh.
Speaking of Riyan Paran, he said, “I think it’s not like what it looks like. It’s very soft in real life. Soft as it speaks very well. His attitude may look bad on television, but it is not.”
When asked something about Nitish Rana that the world does not know, Delhi’s player said that the cricket has always been above all in his life. He thinks the cricket is much larger than anyone, and he has always rated it.
He said, “I think there is nothing bigger than the cricket. The game is very big. From any player, from any game, from whatever, I guess the cricket is a very big game. And I have always seen Cricket in a place where I have never seen myself, neither my family nor anyone. So the cricket is more important for me.”
Above all, Rana was the most valuable player in the Tournament at the Delhi 2025 Premier League, where he accumulated 393 runs at an incredible average of 65.50 and a strike rate of 181.94. He also reached six more years in DPL 2025, and is 34 years old, with the highest score that was a 134 unbeaten of 55 balls.
