US Presidential Administration Donald Trump has sent another thousands of troops to Los -Angeles on the fourth day of chaotic protests against immigration raids when the unrest spread to other US cities.
About 700 Marines were located in the Los -Andgeles area, and the contingent of the National Guard troops mobilized to help stop the disorder, doubled to 4000.
California governor Govin Newsm said the move was performing the “humiliating fantasy of the President’s dictator”.
The state sues the president for sending troops without the governor’s permission. It is very unusual for US military to act as an internal law enforcement agencies.
At least four Mexican citizens detained in Los -Angeles from Friday have already been deported back to Mexico on Monday the country’s Foreign Affairs Office announced.
The confrontation with the Los -Angeles is for the first time since 1965, when the president sent troops to the National Guard in the city of the United States without the approval of the governor.
Earlier, US marine infantrymen were deployed domestically for major catastrophes such as Hurricane Katrina in 2005 and September 11, 2001.
The Trump administration has not yet caused the uprising law, which would allow him to participate directly in the civilian police.
On Tuesday morning, the Los -Angeles district prosecutor repeated the opinion of state bodies that additional deployment was unnecessary. “We have not reached the point of view when the local law enforcement agencies went beyond their funds to resolve the situation,” said the district prosecutor Nathan Hochman.
Hochman said that only the “small fate” of the area’s population was actually protested, and an even smaller number violated the law.
But he said that there were several cases of crimes, “whether it would be the burning of Waymo vehicles, throwing slag blocks and bricks in the police, driving a motorcycle into the police, or throwing out – and throwing through graffiti – public and private buildings.”
700 members of the 2nd Battalion, 7th Marine Corps, twenty -pools, California, will help protect federal property and staff, including immigration agents, US military said.
On Monday night, police officers Los -Andgeles fired grenades and gas cones to disperse hundreds of protesters who gathered outside the federal detention center in the Los -Andgeles city center, where the undocumented immigrants were held.
The National Guard forces formed a cardboard to avoid protesters from the building in the largest city in America.
Some demonstrators threw officers on the officers, Los -Andgeles (LAPD) said on Monday.
At the end of this day, the US Prosecutor General Bondi revealed a person accused of attacking stones at federal agents.
Bondi said he had a search warrant in his house, and that Elpio Rhine’s man would be added to the “most required” list in America.
Protests also emerged in at least nine other US cities, including New York, Philadelphia, Dallas, Austin and San Francisco.
Initially, the demonstrators took to Los -Andgeles Street on Friday after the staff of the immigration and the execution of customs bodies (ICE), who raid the Latin American districts.
The protests unfolded for robbery, independent machines that are falling, the rocks thrown into law enforcement, and a large freeway blocked by demonstrators.
LAPD states that 29 people arrested on Saturday evening and 21 more on Sunday.
The suspects face the allegations, starting with the attempt to kill Malatov’s cocktail, to the attack on the police officer, to the robbery.
The LAPD also states that over the weekend used more than 600 rubber bullets and others less than in the lytical rounds.
At the White House on Monday, Trump said his decision to send to the National Guard had stopped the city from “burning”.
“You are watching the same clips I was making: the cars that were burning, people, we stopped it,” the President said. “I feel we didn’t have the choice.”
The President of the Republicans said he supports that the California governor should be arrested for possible obstacles to the execution of immigration administration.
Newsom, which has been engaged in the war with Trump in recent days, replied to X that “this is an unmistakable step to authoritarianism.” He said the deployment of the detachment “about stroking the ego of a dangerous president.”
Trump Tom Tom Khman’s Trump’s mistake later said CNN that “not at this time” saw nothing that, in his opinion, would guarantee the arrest of the governor of California.
Trump also sent a direct warning to protesting with police and federal forces.
He wrote on social networks: “When they spit, we will hit, and I promise you that they will be stronger than if they suffered earlier. This disrespect will not be allowed!”
At a press conference on Monday night, Mayor La Karen Bass repeated the views of other local officials, saying that the deployment of troops was “intentional attempt” by the Trump administration to create a disorder and chaos in our city. “
The city leader also stated that he knew at least five raids on the ice on Monday, including one by the grandson school.
Trump’s deployment of the National Guard is facing the NEWSOM legal problem. The lawsuit claims that the president violates the US Constitution and sovereignty in California. Newsom also threatened to initiate separate legal actions over the deployment of the Marine Corps.
Trump claimed that his predecessor administration, President of the Democratic Director Joe Biden, allowed millions of immigrants to enter the country illegally.
He pledged to deport record numbers of unregistered migrants, setting a target of at least 3,000 daily arrests.
