Newcastle has signed German International Ombudsman Malick Thiaw of AC Milan by a quota reported around £ 30 million.
The 24 -year -old joins after a three -year stay in San Siro and is the third sign of the Magpies of a turbulent summer.
Thiaw said, “I am very excited to unite this massive club.
“I can’t wait to start training and get to know my new teammates and all staff.
“The gaffer (Eddie Howe) showed me his vision and what he wants to do with me as a player and the club itself, which is really exciting.
“I think Newcastle talks for itself. It’s a fantastic club, a great club with passionate fans I can’t wait to see St James Park.”
Thiaw joins the end of the Nottingham, Anthony Elanga and Southampton goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale at this summer’s signature.
The main coach Howe said, “We are pleased to have Malick on board.
“He is a player I have admired for a long time and someone who will add a real quality to our defensive options.
“Malick is still young, but it brings a valuable experience of the Champions League football, as well as playing the Bundesliga and the A series A, which is an important positive for us when we return to Europe this season.”
