The Keyshawn Davis and Edwin de los Santos’s head struggle is now officially canceled after Keyshawn did not weigh on Friday and undressed from his light Wbo title. Davis (13-0, 9 kos) weighed 139.3 pounds, which was 4.3 pounds over the limit of 135 lb.

Abdullah Mason’s struggle against Jeremia Nakathila will be moved to the headquarters on Saturday night to save the show at the Arena Scope in Norfolk, Virginia. Mason has an exciting style of struggle that makes him the perfect replacement for Keyshawn. Entering the struggle, some fans saw him worthy of directing on Keyshawn.
The light contestant Wbo #2 Wbo, Mason (18-0, 16 kos) is from Ohio. This is not ideal for being the main event. However, the brothers of Keyshawn, Kelvin and Keon Davis are still on the card and this will like the multitude of Norfolk. Given that the Saturday event is shown in ESPN and ESPN+.
Keyshawn has made many criticism of fans for losing weight. Many of them believe that he intentionally had an overweight to get an advantage against the Southpaw of the Santos hard (16-2, 14 kos).
What he proposed to the fans was Davis, he said that he had already tried to be his last struggle in 135, and that he moved until 140. In addition, he did not have the physical appearance of a fighter who had pushed himself.
“You are supposed to have the weight. Why did you sign the contract for 135 and put the title on the line if you knew you will not go the weight to start?” said Tim Bradley to Fighthypereacting to Keyhawn Davis that has not gained weight today.
Davis had never lost his weight before his short career of four years. In his last three fights, he seemed to be older and he was looking for the weight class.
“It is very unprofessional. You are supposed to make this weight. If you are dragging all four on the scale, then I am saying,” Damn, he tried to make the weight, but it was too much for him. “But he did not crawl at all the stairs,” Bradley said about Keyshawn.
Keyshawn’s size concerns
The difference in size between Keyshawn and Los Santos was noticeable during the final press conference on Thursday. You could say looking at Keyshawn that it didn’t seem like it had not even begun to take weight. In contrast, the Santos seemed emaciator and skeletal.
“He is a great of 135 pounds and he has been all his career (4 years). However he has been occupied,” Bradley said about Keyshawn. “It’s not as if he were sitting for two years. Camp door to camp. So, he should have been able to make this weight or approach this weight.”
Given that Davis was already planning to leave the division light, there was no reason for him to get through the Ringer to lower up to 135. If you look at it, it makes sense for the weight to be lost. However, if this were intentional, he did not understand that the fight could be canceled.
“Four kilos, this is a shame, a man. One pound, I can understand. I can understand some ounces and maybe even two pounds. But three pounds, four pounds and, no. You left the ball right here,” Bradley said.
It lacks 4.3 pounds makes Keyshawn look bad. Was it an ego on the other hand that led him not to understand the reaction of the fans? Could be. It is found as a narcissistic and his victories for a gentle opposition that the highest rank has fed seems to have gone to his head.
