Preá (Lucas Galvino) is a reluctant gang -river -river leader who carries cargo along the Amazon. His gang is the reason for capturing Janalice, but he takes a affection for the girl and decides to release her for free.

The third main character is Mariangel (Marleyda soto), a former revolutionary whose son and husband were murdered by a gang. She not only looks for revenge, she also wants to release other victims.

These characters act as the metaphorical “rivers” of the story, and you will immediately want to learn where and how they meet.
