To really appreciate this documentary series, it helps if you are a big football fan. Or even more specifically, Cowboys fan. The ’90s’ cowboys were the highlight of the franchise, and even viewers who are not supporters of the team should appreciate the archival photos. This is the team that won backup championships in the ’90s before dismissing its coach, and then went on to win a third championship a few years later.
These were the days of the glory of the cowboys, even more so than the team’s run in the ’70s. And he says the cowboys of the last three decades have been nowhere close to this good.

When you think of the cowboys, the first names that come to mind are almost all of this age. Troy Aikman. Emmitt Smith. Michael Irvin and Deion Sanders all NFL Hall of Fame members. NetflixFor better or for worse, the owner of Cowboys Jerry Jones at the heart of this series. He is the subject of the most frequent interview, and the story is largely divided from his point of view. That means there is Lots of seconds where American team comes across as Self-worship, and Jones seems to take more than his share of credit for the team’s success.
Jones is also the General Manager of the Cowboys, and is scarce for the owner to be involved so closely with the team’s day -to -day operations. There is no question that Jones ‘eye for talent has helped to create the Cowboys dynasty from the’ 90s. But if he is praised for the success, then he must also take the blame for the three decades of generalism that has followed.
