Too muchSeries 10 episodes of Lady creator Lena Dunhampremiering on July 10, and already One of the most stunning summer TV shows.
Here are all the reasons I’m looking forward to this new comedy-and why it’s a show that has to be watched for July 2025 and beyond.

Megan Stalter rose to fame on the Internet and in the Sketching Comedy World before becoming a regular series on HBO Max’s HackWhere she plays the funny self-centered assistant Kayla. This is her first time in a leading TV role, and we’re excited to see what she can do in her own series.
In Too muchStalter plays Jessica, New York whose disastrous breakdown leads her to spend her whole life and move to London. Hoping that her life will be like Bridget JonesShe is surprised to find out he is a little more like Eastenders – Dramatic, unlorous and a form of ridiculous.
Stalter gets pressed into her most unbearable self as the chaotic Jessica, using her comedy talents to the full.
Megan Stalter with you in the new Netflix series ‘too much’
NetflixLena Dunham, Creator and Star of HBO Popular Series Ladyis author/director Too muchand she cooperates with Bevan’s team and Eric FellnerBritish ROM-Com executive producers hit like Love, really and Bryn Notting. This striking combination promises interesting and clever social commentary alongside romance. The series is very self-conscious, constantly referring to the British ROM-COMS tropics that Jessica loves and how they measure up to reality.
We hope Too much made for British ROM-COMS what Lady did for Sex and the city – offers to take more messy, more base on the feminine experience, with shades of reality behind the fantasy of movies like Four weddings and funeral.

While Stalter is leading Too much sides The white lotus Star of Season 2 Will SharpeThe auxiliary cast contains many more of the actors we love. In the trailer we see Lady aum Andrew rannellsSupermodel and actress Emily Ratajkowski. Fleabag‘S “hot priest” Andrew Scott and Cheese hick Rhea perlmanto name but a few.
As we saw on HackIt is a lot of fun watching stalter play off the benefits of comedy like Paul W. Downs and Robbie Hoffman. Memorable side characters and cameos tend to make a comedy series stand out – Amy Poehler in A wide city or Charlize Theron in Arrested development Only two examples come to mind-so this vast list of a-listers bodes very well for Too much.
Too much drops 10 chapters on Netflix on July 10.
