It wouldn’t be a normal week if an unexpected film didn’t shoot NetflixFilm Chart.
This week the film in question is Journey 2: The Mystery Islandthe sequence to -make 2008 of A trip to the center of the earth.
Both films are currently streaming on Netflix, but we suspect the second film is inclined because it stars Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

Dwayne Johnson gives a charismatic performance

Consider that Journey 2 Going on in 2012 without the star of the first movie, the casting worked out well. The mother‘S. Brendan Fraser star in A trip to the center of the earth Like Trevor Anderson, but he did not return for the sequel. Instead of Fraser, Johnson was cast as Hank Parsons, Trevor’s nephew’s stepfather, Sean Anderson (Josh Hutcherson).
Johnson does not always play characters that exist outside his typical action hero roles, and Hank is no exception. The key difference between Hank and some of the other parts of the actor is that he really tries to be a good father of Sean. The whole story is about Sean trying to find his missing grandfather, Alexander Anderson (Michael Caine), and Hank is supportive every step of the way.
He also helps that Hank is not an arrogant character, and even shows the different sides of his personality, including his love of singing. Eventually, Hank appears as a stand-up guy and appealing hero at the same time.

If Michael Caine has ever given a poor performance, we haven’t seen it. Caine seems relatively early in this film, and his turn is as Alexander gives Johnson a run for his money in terms of charisma. Think of Alexander as a more emotionally available version of Indiana Jones. He is basically an explorer, but he always appreciates his family.
Action -in fans for a banquet this month on Netflix. Just a few months after the last mission: an impossible film strikes theaters, the first five films in the franchise are now streaming on Netflix. Luis guzmán Providing most of the film’s comedy relief as Gabato Laguatan, the Hank helicopter pilot hires it to help them find Alexander on a mysterious island. Guzmán gets the laughter, while Vanessa hudgens Also pleasing as his daughter, Kailani Laguatan. While Hutcherson is shaded by Johnson and Caine, he is the connection between the two Journey Movies and the only cast member to appear in both. He is good as a young adventurer in training, and her romantic sparks with Kailani are also fun. There is no weak contact in this cast.
‘Journey 2’ is second -holding the vibe family adventure

Above all else, Journey 2 Feels like a modern version of the adventures of the Disney or Amblin family of the ’80s and’ 90s. The story may be nonsensical at times, but the film does an excellent job of maintaining fast speed with exciting action sequences. There are no longer many live-acting PG films that cover the same ground, and this is a film that the whole family can actually appreciate.
Although a lot of time has passed, we would still love the opportunity to see these characters again. It feels like a missed opportunity for Fraser and Johnson to join for an adventure together in a possible third film. But at least we can revisit Journey 2 on Netflix whenever we want.
