This variety of enemies, along with the use of North American folklore, keeps the show compelling despite the format of the week.
The series takes place in the town of Purgatory, which is located in the Canadian Rockies near Alberta. Revenians cannot leave the triangle of the Ghost River – the Delta created by the Haneri Split of the Ghost River – without proving “hell on earth.” So the town of purgatory is packed with demons-and they all want out.

Wynonna earp hits great with fans of iconic shows “Badass Woman Fight Beasts”, as Buffy the Jampire Slayer, Charmed or Shadowhunters. It takes that format and applies it to the western genre, creating new turns for both old favorite.
In the character of Wynonna, the show gives us a clever, abominable, reluctant heroine who uses his wit and a powerful gun to fight all kinds of demons. She is flawed and makes enough mistakes, but in a way that makes it transferable. Wynonna earp also pulls a page out of the Puff Playbook and surround his main character with “Scooby Gang,” likeable, creating an evolving character dynamics as the show progresses.
Waverly Leveled Sister Wynonna (Waverly (Dominique Provost-Chalkley), Gunslinger Immortal Doc Holliday (Roson team) and Nicole Haught’s unrivaled agent (Katherine Barrell) All bring heart and humor to the series. Their relationships base the supernatural chaos and give the show an emotional core. If you are a fan of any of the above shows, you have to watch.
