Netanyahu’s plan is reportedly faced with the confrontation of military chiefs

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu should offer to fully start a gas strip when he meets the safety office, Israeli media notes.

“Die was separated. We are going to conquer the gas strip – and winning Hamas,” the local journalists quoted a high -ranking statement.

Responding to the reports that the chief of the army and other military leaders oppose this plan, the unnamed official said: “If it does not work for the chief of staff, he must resign.”

The hostage families fear that such plans can threaten their loved ones, and 20 out of 50 were considered alive in gas, while polls suggest three of the four Israelis, instead prefer the ceasefire agreement to return them.

Many of the close allies of Israel also condemn such a step when they push for war and actions to ease the humanitarian crisis.

Hundreds of Israeli Security Service staff, including former intelligence agencies, in Israel Monday issued a joint letter to US President Donald Trumpcalling him to put pressure on Netanyahu to end the war.

One of the subscribers, the ex-head of the AMI Aemi Agency Agency, said the BBC that further hostilities would be useless.

“From a military point of view (Hamas) is completely destroyed. On the other hand, as an ideology, it is gaining more and more power among the Palestinian people, in Arab Street around us, as well as in the world of Islam.

“So, the only way to overcome Hamas’s ideology is to present a better future.”

Recent developments are happening after indirect negotiations with Hamas on ceasefire, and the hostage deal has broken, and the Palestinian armed groups released three videos from two Israeli hostages that look weak and exhausted.

The footage of Roma Blessing and the Evator David, who were abducted from the new festival on October 7, 2023, shocked and surprised the Israelis. David shows that digging what, he said, is his own grave in an underground tunnel.

There were some assumptions that the latest announcements in the media were a pressure tactic to try to force Hamas to a new deal.

Israeli military personnel say it already has an operational control over 75% of Gaza. But in accordance with the proposed plan, he to occupy the whole territory – he moved to areas where more than two million Palestinians are concentrated.

It is unclear what it will mean to civilians and other assistance groups for civilians. About 90% of 2.1 million gases were moved, some repeatedly and live in overflowing and difficult conditions. Humanitarian groups and UN officials say many are starving by blaming Israel of obstructing decisive assistance.

Earlier, the Israeli troops were holding back from some areas, including part of the central gas, because of the assumption that there were living hostages. Last year, six Israeli hostages were shot after moving ground.

There was no official response, but officials from the Palestinian administration, which manages the parts of the occupied Western shore, announced an Israeli proposal, urging the international community to intervene to prevent any new military activity.

Palestinians point out that the extreme right -wing Israeli ministers openly advocate the full occupation and annexation of gases and eventually want to build new Jewish settlements there.

In 2005, Israel dismantled settlements in the gas strip and retreated from there.

But together with Egypt, he maintained tight control to the territory.

The new idea of classes comes against the backdrop of growing international steps to revive a two-year-old many-year international formula to resolve the decade of Israeli-Palestinian conflicts. It envisages an independent Palestinian state created together with Israel on the west bank, as well as in Gaza Strapping with eastern Jerusalem.

Last week, the UK and Canada joined France, announcing the conditional plans to recognize the Palestinian state.

Israeli Prime Minister is expected to meet with key ministers and military leaders to decide on the next steps into gas. The Israeli Army radio says they must discuss the army’s initial plans to surround the central refugee camps and conduct air strikes and ground raids.

Netanyahu said he would convene a full meeting of the Security Cabinet this week.

Israeli media commentators expressed skepticism and paid attention to practical military, political and diplomatic problems. Writing in the Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper, Nahum Barneo says: “Netanyahu has never been a gambling game on this scale.”

He notes that the Israeli Prime Minister repeated his promise to achieve all his military goals.

“But after 22 months of bloody fighting it is difficult to perceive such types of promises seriously. It seems that Netanyahu has only one goal in the gas to extend the war.”

On October 7, 2023, Israel launched a military offensive in Gaza in response to Hamas’s attack on South Israel, killing about 1,200 people, and another 251 was taken to gas as hostages.

At least 61,020 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces since then, according to the Ministry of Health Hamas.
