Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed that Israel is armed with clans in gas, which he said against Hamas.
His comments came after the Israeli media quoted defense sources said Netanyahu had allowed to give weapons to one specific group in southern gas.
Several Israeli politicians have accused Netanyahu of Israeli’s danger.
“What about this bad?” Netanyahu says in a short video he wrote on Twitter. “It only saves the life of Israeli sellers,” he continues – “and only Hamas helps.”
The Israeli Prime Minister implies that Israel, with his permission, supplies clan weapons to a gas led by a man called Jerri Abu Shabab.
A group, which some see as a militia or a criminal gang, presented themselves as an opposition force to Hamas.
It states that its purpose is to protect the trucks that bring help in gas, but critics say it does the opposite and rob them.
The discoveries may have been canceled by Benjamin Netanyahu, but they have the potential to turn into a new serious political scandal.
Earlier sources of Israeli defense have confirmed local journalists that the allegations of opposition politician Avigdor Lieberman were correct.
Lieberman, headed by the Yisrael Beiteinu party, told Kani to the public television company that Netanyahu unilaterally approved the weapon transfer to the Abu Shabab clan.
“The Israeli government gives weapons a group of criminals and criminals, identified with the Islamic State group,” Lieberman said.
“As far as I know, this did not go through the approval of the office,” he added.
Subsequently, the defense sources confirmed that Israel was armed with the Abu -Shabab clan with Kalashnikov rifles, including some that were confiscated from Hamas.
The clan works in Rapha, near Israeli military control.
However, Yaser Abu Shabab posted on the Internet to “categorically reject” that Israel put their group weapons.
“Our weapons are simple, outdated and came through the support of our own people,” he said.
Hamas sources said that Abu -Shababa’s activity became a problem – with one report in the Arab newspaper, which states that the armed wing of Hamas began to kill the clan members.
Netanyahu’s office states that Israel is “working to defeat Hamas in different ways based on the recommendations of all security executives.”
The strong criticism of this initiative came from Jair Golan, the Democrats leader in Knesset.
In a social media report on X, he said: “Netanyahu is a threat to Israel’s national security. Instead of making a deal … he brings home and providing security for Israeli citizens, he creates a new bomb of time in Gaza.”
