Naukri.comA healthy employment website is resolved a bug that exposure recruiters email addresses using their platform for research and lease online.
The problem, discovering from security search Lohith Gowda, affected the API which Naukri used on their android and IOS app. The API exposed the email addresses of recruiters that visit potential candidates on Naukri’s deck. The problem didn’t look at the company site.
“Exposable e-mail ID can be used for phishing attacks, and recruiters may receive existing excessive e-mail,” gowda said techcrunnch.
Added that the exposed e-mail ID could be added to the discharge data, and mass email address, the crew scraping could lead to automated bot abuse.
Techcrunnch checked the exposure after researcher shares details on the bug. The researcher confirmed to Techcrough that the problem was fixed before this week, which Nukri corroborated on Friday.
