National Guard for deployment in Los -Angeles amid immigration riots

US President Donald Trump places 2000 national guards in Los Endzels to combat unrest on unregistered migrants.

His Border Tsar Tom Homan told Fox News on Saturday: “We make Los Endzels safer.”

The California city saw the second day of unrest on Saturday, when residents of the mostly Latin American district collided with federal immigration and customs agents (ICE). The ice used tear gas and batons to scatter the crowd in the Paramount area.

This week, 118 arrests were made in Los -Angeles as a result of ice operations, including 44 on Friday. California Governor Govin New York condemned the raids as “tough”.

The White House press release said: “In recent days, violent mafia has attacked ICE and federal law enforcement officials conducting major deportation in the Los -Andeles, California.

“These operations are important for the termination and abolition of invading illegal criminals in the US. As a result of this violence, California flawless democratic leaders have completely abandoned their responsibility for protecting their citizens. That is why President Trump signed a presidential memorandum, which deployed 2000 national guards to defend them.

Speaking to the Los -Angeles, where he traveled to personally control the work that is ongoing, Homan said: “We bring more resources when we talk. We will bring the National Guard tonight. We will continue to do our work.”

He warned that there would be “zero tolerance” of any violence or harm to private property.

In a message on X, FBI deputy director Dan Bongin also issued a warning to protest: “You bring chaos and we will bring handcuffs. The law and order will prevail.”

He said that “several arrests” were made for “obstacles”.

In a statement on Friday, Governor Newsom: “Continuation of the chaotic federal sweep across California to meet an arbitrary arrest quota, as ill -advised as violent ones.

“Chaos Donald Trump destroys trust, tears families and undermines workers and industries that pour in the American economy.”

Mayor Los -Angeles Karen Bass has previously accused the ice of “sowing terror” of the second largest city in America.

The FBI and Homeland Security chiefs said the mayor’s comments threaten federal agents.

Anzhalika Salas, who heads the human rights coalition, said a recent rally: “Our community is attacked and terrorized. These are workers. This is the mother. This is the mother. And it must stop.”

The US president has the powers to post a National Guard for certain purposes that include “suppression of the uprising.”

But responding on Saturday, the Governor of California stated that the transition of the federal government “to capture the National Guard of California and the deployment of 2000 soldiers” was “purposefully inflammatory” and “only escaped tension”.

“The Los -Andgeles authorities can access law enforcement for a moment,” NEWSOM added.

Trump hit the governor on his social platform of truth, saying that if he and bass could not do his job, “then the federal government will join and solve the problem, the riots and marauders, as it should be solved !!!”
