NASA forbids Chinese citizens to work on their space programs

The US Space Agency NASA has blocked Chinese citizens with real visas from its facilities – a step that effectively forbids them to work in one of the most respected space research.

Chinese citizens who could only work in NASA as contractors or students who make research found out on September 5 that they lost all access to NASA systems and facilities, Bloomberg News reports, citing sources.

NASA then confirmed this, saying that Chinese citizens would be limited to the use of facilities, materials and networks to ensure the security of our work. ”

The Chinese accelerated space program is alarmed in the US and increased the race between the two largest economies.

Chinese astronauts have already been expelled from the International Space Station (ISS) as Washington has banned NASA share its data with China.

The latest NASA restriction only adds a decline in scientific cooperation between the two sides of the national security problems.

As they fight for getting the technological edge, Beijing and Washington are also more wary.

The suspicion has complicated some Chinese students, especially those who study science and technology, get visas or even enter the US as soon as they provided a visa.

Recently, there were also several cases in the United States that allegedly espionage of Chinese citizens, and scientists, in particular, came under the scanner.

It is unclear how many NASA notifications gave Chinese citizens who worked in the agency. Bloomberg News reported that they had suddenly found that they had been denied access to the agency’s data systems and were banned from participating in meetings concerning their work – both personal and virtual.

The NASA SEECTANI Press Socialist Stivens reported that NASA really took “internal actions related to China’s citizens – including restrictions on physical and cybersecurity access to our facilities.”

China did not fascinate its space ambitions, and Beijing and Washington fought for sending their crew to the moon.

“We are now in the second space race,” said NASA Address Acting Administrator Sean Duff at a press conference on Wednesday, where he told us about the discoveries on Mars.

“The Chinese want to go back to the moon before us. It won’t happen.”

Last year, the Director of the Chinese Space Agency Technology General said that the US problems were “unnecessary”, calling China’s space intelligence by “the collective mission of humanity”.

At the US Senate hearing last week, lawmakers emphasized the need for the United States to put their boots a month before China.

“China did not fascinate its goals,” said Republican Senator Ted Cruz. “(If) our opponents reach dominant space capabilities, this may be a high risk to America … () rates may not be higher.”

The race is not just to get to the moon. It’s also about who can control their resources if they are there.

The moon contains minerals, including rare land, metals such as iron and titanium – and helium used throughout, from superconsiders to medical equipment.
