On Saturday, deadly attacks on two Minnesota legislators survived, says she and her husband “incredibly lucky to remain alive” after 17 bullets were hit.
State Senator John Hoffman and his wife and his wife were killed at their home early on Saturday morning but lived. Melissa Hortman – the main democratic legislator in the state house – and her husband Mark were shot.
