Throughout his career, jasprit bumrah has won the hearts of the cricketing world with his emphatic pace bowling. India’s pace sensation was at the height of his prowess during India’s 5-match Test series against Australia. The viral post on social media mentioned Bumrah as the ultimate superlative for excellence and added Bumrah’s name instead of the usual ‘Best’ that people use as a superlative for good and best.

Bumrah continued with a relentless run with the bowl to save India’s hopes and get a positive result in the Melbourne and Sydney Test of the BGT 2024-25. While his efforts didn’t yield much for the team, the ace pacer’s extra workload led to a back injury. Bumrah bowled over 150 overs throughout the series and so a back spasm was only evident for the pacer.
However, the 31-year-old’s injury situation now appears to have worsened with reports suggesting swelling in his back. With a T20I and ODI series on home soil against them England Around the corner, the Indian team is desperately waiting for some positive news on Bumrah’s injury. The issue is more worrisome considering the fact that the Indian team has to head to the UAE soon to play their matches for the Champions Trophy 2025 after the England series.
