Mrs. Dhoni’s legendary wick made has taken an important step in achieving legal rights to one of the most iconic nicknames in the history of the Indian Cricket. The phrase “Captain Cool”, which is famously associated with the legendary Captain Indian MS Dhoni, has been officially accepted and published by the India brand registry.
Now, the former Bat-Bitlet of India, Mrs. Dhoni, is one step away from the legal property of the “Captain Cool” of the Moniker who has defined his style of composite leadership and without fear for more than a decade.
The trademark was accepted on June 16, 2025 and will be completely granted if no third party will be proposed within the constitutional period of 120 days. Dhoni had submitted the application in June 2023 to the categories linked to sports training, training services and facilities.

However, he initially faced an obstacle when the record said that a company called Prabha Skill Sports (OPC) Private Limited had already registered the phrase “Captain Cool”.
In his response, the former Indian Captain, who won all the ICC trophies as captain, filed a rectification request, challenging the Prabha Skill Sports (OPC) Private Limited register and accusing the company of trying to take advantage of his well -established public image.
Dhoni had said in his request: “This is a case of a bad faith by the company, aimed at deceiving the audience and illegally enriched the name of a well-known individual.”
After at least four audiences, the Indian brand registration accepted Dhoni’s request, paving the way for exclusive rights to the title that fans around the world have been associated with the legendary Cricleter for some time. With this development, Dhoni is now close to having “Captain Cool”.
