CSK captain, Mrs. Dhoni has left a massive suggestion about his future at IPL after beating KKR in the recent recent IPL 2025 Match to Eden Gardens. Dhoni, now 43, was appointed Captain of Chennai Super Kings in the middle of the season after Ruturaj Gaikwad was ruled out of the IPL 2025.
Dhoni will turn 44 in July this year, and yet the IPL champion five times shows no sign of slowdown. Ms. Dhoni continues among the fastest markers currently playing in the IPL.
Mrs. Dhoni’s maintenance is still top level
Although Dhoni’s maintenance and captaincy have been first -class, his battle form has seen a dive in IPL 2025. The constant change of position in the battal order has also not helped the CSK captain to determine his role on the side.

Again, after the game KKR vs CSK in Eden Gardens, Ms. Dhoni wondered about the support of fans everywhere he goes and even when CSK plays out of the house.
Dhoni said his future a bit, Dhoni said: “This is the love and affection I have for all the time, not to forget -I am 43 years old and I have played for a long time. They do not know when it will be my last year, it is a fact that only two months a year.”

Chennai recovers from the initial blows
It will be interesting to see if Dhoni can continue with the same vigor as before, as and when we reach the next edition of IPL. Ruturaj Gaikwad should return as CSK captain if any new injury does not bother him this year.
The addition of Urvil Patel also increases CSK maintenance options and, if necessary, CSK could be ready to advance even without Dhoni in IPL 2026. However, if this happens, it will be exciting to see how the wave of yellow herds in outside places.
