Moyes Bemoans “Poor Poor Disco” As Everton loses Leeds

Everton’s head, David Moyes gave the victory to Leeds To Elland Road, “a really poor decision.”

Toffees pattern James Tarkowski blocked an Anton Stach shot with his arm, next to him, and after a Var Check referee, Chris Kavángh, a penalty was confirmed.

Lukas Nmecha buried the place to secure three points for Leeds and none of an unpleasant exhibition by Everton.

Moyes told the BBC: “I am very disappointed and, unless you cut the boy’s hand, I do not know where he is going. I do not know if the crowd participates in it. They put themselves right behind his team and Leeds played well and probably deserved the victory in equity.

“I think this is a really poor decision. Var had the opportunity to get rid of it.

“I think it’s very bad for us. The referees haven’t had a great weekend.

“Leeds came out of the blocks and we waited for it. We changed in the half and we were much better in the second half and, if some team would win it, I thought it would be us.”

Tarkowski said he was confident that the field decision would be nullified, but former Manchester United Capitan Gary Neville, and Jamie Carragher, were determined to be a right decision.

“James Tarkowski is the kind of defender who thinks he should put himself in front of each shot,” Neville said.

“The guilt was written all over Tarkowski’s face. He knows that he is a penalty.

“Tarkowski moved his arm into the ball. He tilts and blocks him. He is a penalty and he knows what he has done. He knows he is a penalty.

“He knows he made a mistake.”
